The dun and lewis memorial center opening ceremony

A permanent memorial to those who lost their lives in the terrorist attacks in Bali on 12th October 2002 was opened in ulladulla on Saturday 11th of September 2010. there was circus acts, dancing acts, Speaker's, balloons let go in memory of the lives lost in the bombing. Inside the center so far is looking amazing. nice people working there. fun times to be had all round. here are some shots of the balloons, dancing and the circus acts.

Fisheye test 1

I recently received my samyang 8mm fisheye in the mail.The last 2 days i have been testing it out.While testing it out at the skate park i got a little to close to the action and got a board to the ankle and the knee cap thank you Simon James Deutscher for making me learn the hard way that things are a lot closer then they appear.With a flash mounted to the camera i was all set for the action.

super 5/9/2010

Supers was sick to shoot on this day but it looks really surgery and not very welcoming to surf, but the few we your just keen to surf it got a few good ones, but there was 130km winds trying to blow me off the rocks when ever i walked around the rock, but that was fun. One hell man was just pulling in to bombs and not making any waves was good to shoot.

This is my second post of my resent trip to the cook islands.The cook islands trip was real fun, fun waves, no crowds,nice people food is about the same cost as here but i was on a holiday so who cares really ay. B&W here we go!

Destruction

Saturday night was hectic with wind gusts of 130kms, there was bound to be so destruction of some sort. i went to bawley at 7 ish, gusts still at about 100kms and the car being blown all over the road, trees fallen over left right and center, power lines on the roads, detours but still was goo to see the SES violinists getting out there and making the streets safe to drive on again.

Flower

Rennies beach is home to many flora and fauna but there are a few of the coastal flowers growing at rennis with my 55mm to 250mm lens i captured a few plants growing peaceful well well peacefully before i got there to shoot them.

Cook Islands Part 1

Here are a few shots from my resent trip to raotangao. A small peaceful island with massive mountains,and yes with did drive up one is own little 2 wheel drive car, that track should only be used by the raro surfari trucks.

That Pelican.

Ulladulla harbor is home to a lot a creatures small, medium, different shapes, size and colors. I was lucky enough to have my camera when this one came a knocking on my door.I re call the being about 10 pelicans about 2 meters away from this one but this one was just chilling on its own have a great time waiting for the sun to set over the hills of this beautiful little coastal town called Ulladulla.

panorama

winter is upon us now and sunny westerly wind days all round, i took advantage of these moments this afternoon and walked down to the harbor to capture a few images this is one of the panoramas i done,actually the first one i done today.I done four all from different locations around the harbor. all turned out pretty sweet...

I wasn't happy with how this copy turned out cause i had to resize it.It turned out blurry but the final large file turned out super sharpe.

Sydney boat show.

yesterday being Monday the 2nd of august we headed up to Sydney for the Sydney International Boat Show in Sydney.It was fun day.I rocked out with Jack hall, Kristian Gillies and Mitchell Rowen on multi million dollar boats cuasing a ruckus.We got kicked out of McDonald's twice with in 5 minutes.GOOD TIMES.
